Accessibility

This concept prototype aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. It is still being tested.

No claim of conformance

We are working toward WCAG 2.2 AA and have not completed an audit. Treat this page as a status report, not a certificate.

Our target

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. That includes readable contrast, visible keyboard focus, labeled form controls, touch targets of at least 44 pixels, and no motion that starts on its own. The site respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.

What is being tested

Automated checks with axe on the pages in this prototype.
A keyboard-only pass through navigation, forms and filters.

Testing with screen readers and with people who use assistive technology has not been completed.

Known limitations

Event details come from Mobilize and are written by event hosts, so their wording and any attached files are outside this site’s control.
Links to the legacy scdp.org site, Google Drive files, ActBlue, Action Network and scvotes.gov open pages we do not control.
The county map is a visual aid; every county is also available as a text list.
The county party directory is imported from scdp.org and has not been reviewed by each county.
