This page describes a concept prototype built by Metrix. It is not SCDP’s privacy policy. Read that at scdp.org/privacy-policy (last revised February 4, 2025).

What this prototype collects

Nothing is stored. Every form here uses a demonstration adapter that checks your answers and then discards them. Nothing is emailed, saved or forwarded.

What a production site would collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, message, and the topic and county you choose.
  • Email updates: your email address, topic choices and optional ZIP code. In production this posts to Action Network, SCDP’s current email tool.
  • County correction reports: your name, email address and the correction you describe.
  • Event submissions: your name, email address and the event details you enter.

How long it would be kept

  • Correction reports: deleted 90 days after the report is closed.
  • Contact messages: kept for one year.
  • Email subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.

Tracking and analytics

There is no cross-site tracking and no political profiling. Any analytics would be aggregate and cookieless.

Third parties

Events come from Mobilize, contributions go to ActBlue, and voting tools belong to the SC Election Commission. When you follow those links you leave this site and their policies apply.
